Cypress Forest of Zourva Day Trip

We will hike through the biggest Cypress Forest of Crete located at the roots of Lefka Ori, also the biggest mountain range of Crete. This forest starts from the small traditional village called Zourva and it ends up at a spring after called Tromarissa where you can drink freely water. The path winds up through the cypresses some of which are very old and have huge trunks something that reaveals they are very old. Also as we hike through the path we will encounter some opennings where we can marvel at the view. Finally when we return to the village we can eat at a traditional tavern called Aimilia which offers delicious food.
