Partnership & independence

  • Local Tours Expert collaborates with guides on a freelance basis. This means you operate as an independent supplier, managing your own schedule and availability.
  • You have full control over how you conduct your tours, as long as they meet the quality and service standards expected by travelers and our platform.

Booking & Communication

  • All tour bookings will be managed through our platform. You will receive booking notifications with all necessary details.
  • It is essential to confirm your availability and communicate any changes promptly to ensure a seamless experience for travelers.

Payments & Fees

  • Payments for completed tours are processed one day after the tour takes place.

  • All payments are made via PayPal for a fast and secure transaction.

  • To cover PayPal’s transaction fees, we deposit 6% extra, ensuring you receive the full amount you deserve.

  • Guides are responsible for any additional tax obligations in their respective countries.

Cancellations & no-shows

  • In case you need to cancel a tour, you must notify us as soon as possible so we can inform travelers and find a suitable replacement.

  • If a traveler cancels, the applicable cancellation policy will determine if payment is made.

  • No-shows or last-minute cancellations without valid reasons may affect your eligibility for future bookings.

Quality & Traveler Experience

  • We expect all guides to provide professional, engaging, and well-organized tours that align with the tour descriptions on our platform.

  • Maintaining positive reviews and high traveler satisfaction is key to receiving more bookings.

Modification to these terms

  • Local Tours Expert reserves the right to update these terms as needed. Any significant changes will be communicated in advance.
